Référendum aux Pays-Bas : les conséquences pour le futur de l’Union européenne et de l’Ukraine

L’Union européenne et l’Ukraine ont signé un accord d’association en 2014. Cinq années de difficiles négociations et de préparation du texte de l’accord ont précédé cet évènement exceptionnel. Les Ukrainiens ont défendu leur droit, parfois au péril de leur vie, à un mode de vie européen, durant les journées révolutionnaires de l’Euromaidan. Cet accord en est l’aboutissement et doit être ratifié aujourd’hui par référendum aux Pays-Bas.

Das Referendum in den Niederlanden - eine Entscheidung über die Ukraine und die EU

Die Europäische Union und die Ukraine unterzeichneten 2014 ein Assoziierungsabkommen. Fünf Jahre hatte die Ausarbeitung des Textes gedauert. Während der revolutionären Tage des Euromaidan verteidigten die Ukrainer teilweise mit ihrem Leben ihr Recht auf einen westeuropäischen Lebensstil. Heute wird in den Niederlanden in einem Referendum über das Assoziierungsabkommen abgestimmt.

The Referendum in the Netherlands : Meaning for the EU & Ukraine’s Future

The European Union and Ukraine signed an Association Agreement in 2014. Five years of difficult negotiations and preparation of the text of the Agreement was preceded by that outstanding event. Ukrainians defended (sometimes with their lives) their right to the European way of life during the revolutionary days of Euromaidan.
