Lina is a student of history and political science with a strong focus on European affairs. She grew up near Düsseldorf, Germany and moved to Copenhagen, Denmark at the age of 14. There she completed a bachelor’s degree in history at the University of Copenhagen, including two semesters at Humboldt University in Berlin. It was during her time in Berlin that she developed a strong interest in European politics. Her bachelor’s thesis explored theories of populism and the financial crisis, a topic she has continued to explore in her graduate studies. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in German politics and Culture at the University of Copenhagen.
