Athina Kafetzi

Athina Kafetzi (25) is currently pursuing a master’s degree in “International Studies/Peace and Conflict Research” at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, where she previously earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science. As a committed European, she views Europe as a symbol of freedom, democracy, and diversity, while also recognizing the ongoing challenge of actively upholding and strengthening these values within Europe. Through her participation in “Newsroom Europe,” she aims to develop her journalistic skills, gain new perspectives, and make European issues more visible. Her goal through “Newsroom Europe” is to contribute to European integration, foster intercultural dialogue, and promote mutual understanding and unity. For her, Europe represents not only shared values but also the responsibility to continually strengthen cohesion.
